I’ll be cheering for Buffalo’s Rust Belt neighbors, the Cleveland City Stars, in tonight’s USL-2 championship scrap with the Charlotte Eagles. Fox Soccer Channel will be broadcasting the final at 10:00 PM EST tonight. Until then enjoy Clevo’s 2008 highlights:

Welcome to SC718

SC718 won’t be all things football to everybody, nor will it be the place to turn for breaking news in the football world. I don’t promise keen insights and analysis, or objectivity. What I will do here is bring a fan’s passion and love for the game, both as a fan and avid player, to blogging. Since I’m a not-so-long suffering New York Red Bulls fan and member of the Empire Supporters Club that means plenty of posts on the state of this mediocre side. Being a true believer in American soccer, it also means that we’re going to focus on MLS, USL, and the US Men’s teams. I also expect that I’ll have more to say about the Liga Mexicana than one would normally expect.
